Is the image itself of sufficient quality to be placed in the gallery? Is it clear, can you tell what is being depicted, and can you adequately see the most important components?
Does the image add to the gallery in an important way? Please search the gallery for images already present that are similar to the one you are reviewing. You may decide that this image should not be included because it adds nothing new to the gallery, or you may suggest to the section editor that this submission be accepted because it has some added features by comparison with a similar image already in the gallery.
Is there sufficient information accompanying the image to explain what the image is depicting? Images in the gallery should have sufficient information to make them truly useful. However, Gallery images are intended to support teaching, not substitute for teachers. Since the optimal amount of information varys among images, you need to decide when enough has been provided. You may ask the section editor to contact the submitter for more information.
